Politicians, businessmen, managers, poets and nurse's aides go into elections
The term for filing documents for registration of nomination groups for collecting signatures for presidential contenders to the Central Elections Commission expires on September 24. It is expected that Aliaksandr Lukashenka will file the documents today. His main rival may also reveal himself today. In the end of the day on September 23 there have been 7 applications for registration of nomination groups in the Central Elections Commission. One of them is already registered - the team of Viktar Tsiareshchanka, the Chairman of the Council of the "Association of small and medium entrepreneurship".
There are also applications of the UCP member, economist Jaraslau Ramanchuk, the Vice-Chairman of the "Greens" Jury Hlushakou, an entrepreneur Uladzimir Pravalski and the leader of the "Movement Forward", poet Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu.
Besides, it's not just politicians and businessmen who wish to take part in the presidential electoral race. Among the contenders there are also the manager of Vitsebsk fruit and vegetable processing plant Siarhej Ryzhou and the nurse's aide of the sanatorium "Chonki" from Homel region Natallia Starykava.
