President of Lithuania and Chancellor of Germany to discuss relations between the EU and Belarus

The President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite and the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel will discuss relations between the European Union and Belarus and Russia during their meeting on September 6 in Vilnius, informs BelaPAN.

As it was informed by the press-center of the Lithuanian President, the agenda of the meeting also includes Lithuanian-German relationship, possibilities of development of economic cooperation, EU's means for overcoming and prevention of crisis consequences.

Merkel will arrive to Vilnius upon the invitation of the President of Lithuania.

It is also stated in the press-release that Germany is one of the most important partners of Lithuania in the EU and NATO.
