Lady Spencer pursues charitable goals in Belarus, while the British businessmen who are accompanying her, want to taste the Belarusian vodka.
Princess Diana's step mother -- Lady Spencer -- has arrived in Belarus for a five-day visit. Lord Spencer's widow and the daughter of writer Barbara Cartland is renowned in the world as a charity activist.
While in Belarus, the countess will visit the National Children's Oncology and Hematology Center and the Belarusian Children's Hospice in Barauliany. She is set to find out what kind of assistance these two institutions need.
Lady Spencer is accompanied by businessmen from Herrards which owns the world biggest trade center (90,000 sq.m.). The company is owned by Mohammed al-Faed, the father of Dodi al-Faed -- the lover of Princess Diana who perished with her in a car accident in 1997.
The businessmen seek to find out what Belarus products could be sold by the trade center. So far, they are interested in vodka, linen and the Pinsk-made furniture.
