Protest action “Free Belarus” to take place in NY today
Belarusian “Free Theatre” together with Amnesty International and the Public Theater will conduct a join protest action “Free Belarus” in New York today. Representatives of NY theatrical community will take part in the action. "On January 19, a month after the scary events in Minsk when the Belarusian authorities severely dispersed the meeting in the city centre and when hundreds of people were beaten, detained and arrested, an action in support of the Belarusians whose rights are being violated and of those who are still in jail or in detention centres will be organized in New York”, - inform social networks.
The meeting will be held from 12 to 1 p.m.
