Public prosecutor's office to finish checking of Aleh Biabenin's death circumstances today

The term of public prosecutor's office's checking of the fact of Aleh Biabenin's death expires today. Let us remind you, the 36-year-old journalist Aleh Biabenin was found hanged in his country-house in the village Piarkhurava not far from Minsk three months ago, on September 3. The deceased did not leave any messages.  The public prosecutor's office's investigators who dealt with this case claimed it was a suicide. This version was not refuted by the invited OSCE experts. Thus, the checking should be finished today. The representatives of the Minsk regional public prosecutor's office said previously that no criminal case would be started in this regard.

Alongside with that, Aleh's friends and relatives are convinced it was a murder on political reasons. The journalist was one of the founders and supervisors of the Charter'97 web-site.
