Ramanchuk speaks with Lukashenka about economy after dispersal of action
The ex-presidential candidate Jaraslau Ramanchuk has met with Aliaksandr Lukashenka. Ramanchuk has informed about this himself to the correspondent of Gazeta.ru. This is what he told:
"Yes, i met with Lukashenka. The conversation lasted for about ten minutes. First, I used this opportunity to discuss the situation with the UCP leader Anatol Liabedzka's arrest, as he is my representative. I explained that Liabedzka did not call for violent actions at the Square. He was arrested at home and faced up to 8 years of imprisonment in accordance with our legislation. Lukashenka promised to "check and see".
Secondly, we discussed my economic program, my suggestions with regard to economic policy of the country, the possibility of my work in the government (there have been such offers recently). Lukashenka said he would think about this".
Ramanchuk has told in his interview to "Nasha Niva" that the meeting took place after Lukashenka's press-conference in the Palace of Republic. 'We arrived and waited there. Then a special services' representative came over and led me to Lukashenka...", — says the ex-presidential candidate.
