Repair of Old Bridge in Hrodna to be finished on July 31, 2008
More than 130 people work on it every day. Repair works are conducted twenty-four hours a day which makes people living nearby indignant.
The Old Bridge is planned to change greatly after the repairs – it will become four-lane and 0.4-0.2 metres higher. Repairs are being conducted on both the upper and the underground parts of the bridge. Trapeziums and principals are being installed there.
Only passenger traffic and carpools will be allowed to pass there after the reconstruction.
