Ales Kalita to stand trial in Homel today
The former leader of “BPF Youth” is in a detention centre at the moment. According to the case papers, “he used bad language and started a fight”.
Ales Kalita, former leader of “BPF Youth” will stand trial in Homel Railway Court on April 25. He is accused of petty hooliganism, informs BelaPAN.
According to unofficial information, Kalita was detained on the night of April 24 in Homel. He was heading for the funeral of his grandfather.
The activist served in the regiment near Lepel where the assumed executor of the terrorist act did. Some opposition activists think that the detention is not accidental – the police want to check the young man in connection with the investigation of the blast in the metro.
