Andrzej Pochobut’s trial to be resumed on July 5
Andrzej Pochobut’s fifth hearing took an hour. The journalist will pronounce his pre-imposition statement at the next one.
11:10. The court has announced a break for a week. Andrej Pochobut will pronounce his pre-imposition statement on July 5. The sentence will be announced later on.
11:00. The debates are over. Both Andrzej Pochobut’s lawyers have spoken.
10:35. A policeman has addressed the people standing near the building of the court. He has informed that those who are holding newspapers can be called participants of an unauthorized action and warned them about responsibility.
10:20. Andrzej Pochobut was delivered to court at about 10.05 a.m. The car arrived at the back yard, However, policemen did not create obstacles to the people who had come to support the journalists and they managed to see him.
About 40 supporters are near the building of the court now. They are the journalist’s wife and father, members of the Union of Poles, journalists, human rights activists (including Valyantsin Stefanovich) and BAJ members. People are holding newspapers.
