Belarus recognizes South Sudan
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed about it.
According to the Ministry’s press release, Belarus welcomes the peaceful creation of the new state and would like to establish cooperation with it in all spheres.
Let us remind you that South Sudan is the youngest state in the world at the moment. The decision about its independence from Sudan was taken at the last winter’s referendum.
