Belarus switches to Chinese cell phones
China remained the leader of cell phones supplies to Belarus providing almost three quarters of the import last year.
The import of cell phones increased by 2.6 times in 2010 in comparison with 2009. On the whole, about 1.47 million cell phones costing 103.2 million dollars (2.6 times increase) were imported last year, reports PRIME-TASS referring to the customs statistics.
The majority of cell phones were imported from China – 874 thousands (2.1 times increase).
