Blast case figurant re-qualified as a witness
A person named in the metro blast case Rumyantsau speaks in the court as a witness.
According to the information provided by BELTA, the judge claimed this at the trial on September 16. However, Rumyantsau is mentioned in the text of the accusation as a copartner in the early Vitsebsk episodes, in particular, in the blast in the entrance. The public prosecutor informed that the case against Rumyantsau had been terminated due to time limitation.
A representative of casualty Inessa Krutaya asked, in his turn, why Kanavalau and Kavalyou were accused of those episodes when the identical accusations against other people were withdrawn. The judge replied that this was justified by certain peculiarities of the criminal law theory, and gave no further details.
