Hearings about Belarus to take place in U.S. Congress today
Hearings to examine the situation in Belarus will take place in the Subcommittee on European Affairs of the upper chamber of the U.S. Congress today.
According to Charter’97, American politicians will consider information about repressions in Belarus and discuss the ways to react.
The main speakers will be the head of an influential American non-governmental organization Freedom House David Kramer and the director of “Free Theatre” Natallya Kalyada.
