"Human rights defenders for fair election” register law violations
"Human rights defenders for fair election" is registering facts of violation of the Election Code.
A human rights centre “Vyasna” has informed about it in its preliminary
report about the results of the second day of the early voting.
Coercion to vote early was registered in 14% of election centres as of
10 a.m. on December 16. Interference in the work of election committees
has been registered in 8.5% of election centres. Observers have
encountered obstacles at more than 10% of election centres, states the
report.
600 short-term and 80 long-term observers of the “Human rights defenders
for fair election” campaign are watching the process of the early
voting in more than 300 election centres all over Belarus.
