Maxim Bahdanovich Day marked today
The classic of the Belarusian literature died in Yalta on this day 95 years ago.
A few events in memory of the poet are planned in Minsk. Flowers will be laid on Maxim Bahdanovich’s monument near the Opera Theatre at 12 p.m. and a service will be held in Peter and Paul Cathedral at 2 p.m. The party “Under Maxim’s Star” will be organized in the capital on Friday.
