Nasha Niva to stand trial today
The case of the newspaper’s liquidation has been resumed. The hearing will begin in the Supreme Economic Court at 2.30 p.m.
The trial is initiated by the Ministry of Information. In the opinion of the state institution, Nasha Niva has a lot of warnings and should be deprived of its registration. The hearing has been in process for many months. The editorial staff tried to appeal the warning pronounced by the Ministry of Information before. However, they did not succeed and the edition may be closed today.
Let us remind you that policemen visited the editorial office yesterday. They informed that the last warning was the reason to start a criminal case against Nasha Niva’s publishers. They may be fined for 3.5-17.5 million rubles.
