Navapolatsk activist to stand trial for press distribution today
Mikola Chartkou’s trial will start at 3 p.m.
According to Narodnaya Volya, he is accused of distribution of the independent press and may be fined for 20-50 base amounts. Mikola says that he was detained on July 10, delivered to the police office and accused of distribution of the independnet press. The activist pled not guilty and claimed that he would not sign any protocols. Policemen considered the action to be swearing and delivered the activist to court. And the court decided that Chartkou had to be fined for 70 thousand rubles.
The distributor of the independent press from Navapolatsk is likely to be fined again today.
