Swedish MP: Belarusian repressions at their pitch

to facilitate travel.

"The scale of the repressions in Belarus is at its pitch. In my opinion, such severe pressure has never been exercised on its democratic structures. Belarusians are going through a very complicated period now. I understand how hard it is for the Belarusian democrats to protect their rights in such a political system, with constant pressure and persecution”, - claimed Fredrik Malm in an interview with BelaPAN.

The deputy notes that the European Union’s sanctions should not affect the Belarusian society in any way. According to him any limitations and sanctions imposed by the EU target the official Minsk.

"I agree with the majority of my colleagues who think that Europe is still closed for Belarusians. The visa regime is to blame for it. I am sure that travel should be facilitated for Belarusian citizens”, - stressed Fredrik Malm.
