Rescuers clean up after blaze at oil depot in Brest

Rescuers from the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus have remained at an oil depot in Brest in order to clean up the effects of the blaze by removing the contaminated soil.  Four fire-fighting teams continue to stand by at the site.

During the blaze on Saturday in this western Belarusian city, around 180 tons of gasoline were burnt .

Officials said the lightning was to blame for the fire. No victims or injuries were reported, according to Interfax.
