Russian CEC: Belarusian opposition could get to Parliament

The Belarusian opposition would have been able to get to the parliament if the elections had been based on the proportion system introduced in Russia.
The head of the country’s Central Election Commission Vladimir Churov claimed it discussing the advantages of the proportion system used for elections of State Council deputies in comparison with the majority system used to elect Belarusian deputies.
