Ryhor Vasilevich does not like the practice of renting flats for a day
The General prosecutor of Belarus Ryhor Vasilevich has sent a letter to the Council of Ministers. He is worried about the legal basis of renting flats for a short period of time. The practice of renting flats for a short period of time – that is for a day or even for several hours – has become rather common. The General Office of Public Prosecutor has focused on this “violation”. Officials say that such flats often become “brothels, gambling-dens and haunts”. Moreover, the hosts are always evading taxes.
The press service of the General Office of Public Prosecutor reminded that a similar decision of the Constitutional Court had been sent to the Council of Ministers in April 2007. However, it has not brought any results yet, reports “Belorusski Partizan”.
