Sentence to policeman who hanged criminal on a tree pronounced in Pinsk

A Pinsk policeman caught a criminal, put handcuffs on his hands, hanged him on a tree and beat him. That was the way a young policeman from the department of criminal investigation decided to punish a guy who burgled into his father’s car. The court decided that the senior lieutenant abused power and sentenced him to three years of imprisonment in a high security colony.

The policeman did not plead guilty and is going to appeal the court’s decision, reports the “Respublica” newspaper.
