Seven opposition activists detained in connection with the explosion in Minsk are still behind bars - Syarhei Chyslau, Vіctar Lyashchynskі, Mіraslau Lazouskі, Іhar Korsak, Іllya Bohdan, Anton Koipіsh and Tatstsyana Pyakun.
Let us remind you that a UCP activist Alyaksandr Serhienka, an activist of the “European Belarus” campaign Pavel Kuryanovich and the leader of the unregistered Belarusian Party of Freedom Syarhei Vysotski were let off from the KGB confinement cell on July 12. They managed to prove their innocence.
Let us remind you that the political council of the United Democratic Forces has claimed that the participation of opposition representatives in the parliamentary elections will be reconsidered in connection with the detentions. An action of solidarity with the detained will take place in Kastrychnitskaya Square in Minsk at 6 p.m. today.
