Shipment of Belarusian diesel fuel to Europe suspended?

"Reuters" news agency has informed today with a reference to "one of the oil traders in London", that the shipments of the Belarusian diesel oil to Western Europe have been suspended since January 17. The concern "Belnaftahim" has not commented upon this information yet. "We have no information in this regard yet", — said the concern's press-secretary Maryna Kastsiuchenka to BelaPAN.

Belarus ships about 200 thousand tons of diesel fuel to Western Europe a month. "However, it is obvious that this country needs fuel itself, as Russia has stopped shipment of oil to Belarus in the beginning of 2011. At the same time, Russia continues shipment of fuel to Poland and Germany via the "Druzhba" pipeline, which goes through the territory of Belarus", — states "Reuters".
