Shoot-out at Belarus-Ukraine border
The Ukrainian border guards last night fired gun shots at two vehicles that were trying to smuggle alcohol into the neighboring Belarus.
However, an Audi and a Zil truck refused to stop amd broke through the border checkpoint. Ukraine asked for help from the Belarusian border guards, who found the abandoned Zil truck with flat tyres early in the morning. 3,000 bottles of Nemiroff Vodka 0.7l were recovered from the truck. The Belaus law-enforcement agencies are searching for the smugglers, reports Novyi Region.
