Solidarity Day to be held near St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church

This was agreed between the BCD steering committee, "Charter'97", "Young Front", "Right Alliance", and "European Belarus", informed the Co-Chairman of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Paval Sieviarynets, to the European Radio for Belarus. Sieviarynets: "It will be a common Solidarity Day. We have agreed it with the "Charter'97" organizational committee, with people who had started marking Solidarity Days. Thus, the people with Biabenin's portraits, and those who will pray for return of the Catholic Church in the very heart of Minsk to believers, and those who want to honour the memory of Hanchar and Krasouski (missing since September 16, 1999) - all these people will come to the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church".

According to Sieviarynets, the organizers expect no less than a hundred of participants to come to the action. Since this very Solidarity Day the BCD starts their action on struggle for return of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church to believers. It is planned to gather participants of the action near the Church every evening from now on.
