Solidarity with people struggling for freedom in Belarus is expressed in Estonia

Students of Tartu University (Estonia) conducted an action of solidarity with Belarus and Georgia on September 16. Students from different countries who had arrived in Estonia to study in exchange programmes gathered on Karlsid Bridge in the evening.
They lit candles and commemorated the missing Belarusian politicians and civil activists (September the 16 was the 9th anniversary of the disappearance of Victar Hanchar and Anatol Krasouski) and expressed solidarity with people struggling for freedom and democracy in Belarus. Candles were also lit to express solidarity with Georgia, informs BelaPAN.

A picket organized by representatives of the Belarusian diaspora and activists of Polish civil organizations took place near the office of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Day of Solidarity with Belarus, reports “Charter-97”.
