Statkevich’s idea is not approved
Mikola Statkevich’s idea was not approved according to the results of the voting at the Congress of democratic forces.
Let us remind you that the politician suggested changing the agenda and discussing the strategy of the democratic forces first.
He thinks that the one proposed by the CDF steering committee is “a strategy of fear and tiredness” while it is necessary to work out a strategy of victory. Pavel Sevyarynets and other delegates supported Statkevich’s idea.
At the same time, Yury Hadyka and Syarhei Kalyakin were against Statkevich’s suggestion.
As a result, the issue was put to the vote. 256 delegates voted pro and 280 – contra.
So, the agenda of the Congress will not be changed. The strategy will be adopted tomorrow.
