Sting supports campaign on death penalty abolishment in Belarus (photo)

During his visit to Belarus Sting supported the efforts of human rights activists in their struggle for abolishment of death penalty in Belarus. Acording to Belarusian Helsinki Committee, Sting, who played a concert in Minsk, met with human rights activists. He signed the petition for abolishment of death penalty, initiated by the Belarusian Helsinki Committee, organizations "Viasna" and "Amnesty International".




Let us remind you that Belarus is the only country in Europe which still has death penalty.
