Street named after deceased pilots to appear in Baranavichy
Pilots Zhuraulevich and Marfitski will be commemorated in Baranavichy. A new street in one of the city miscrodistricts will be named after them, reports “Intex-press”. The city council of deputies has taken this decision.
Let us remind you that Alyaksandr Marfitski and Alyaksandr Zhuraulevich died on August 30, 2009 during a demonstration flight at an air show in Polish Radom.
A monument has been installed in the crash site with the help of the money collected by Poles. A monument to the pilots will also be installed at a cemetery near Baranavichy.
