Three Belarusian girls kept in Syria return to Minsk
Three Belarusian girls that were kept in Syria for two months have returned to Belarus, reports “Interfax”.
Marharyta Al Huvaidі let her three daughters – a 16-yeаr-old girl and two 12-year-old twins to visit her former husband in Syria during vacations. However, he refused to let them return to Belarus.
Belarusian diplomats noted that the problem was very complicated because Syrian judges always took the father’s side in such cases. However, after Jafar Al Huvaidi noted that Belarusian mass media started writing about the situation he decided to let his daughters go back home.
