Traditional Day of memory of Kalinouski brothers to take place today in Svislach

Hrodna democratic community will visit the family homestead of the Belarusian national heroes - Viktar and Kastus Kalinouski - on the last October Saturday. Memorial events will take place in accordance with the traditional route. In the morning there will be a festive church service dedicated to Kalinouski brothers in Svislach Catholic Church. Then people will visit the village Jakushouka where the remains of the Kalinouskis family homestead still survive. Activists installed a cross in the honour of the rebellion of 1863 some time ago there. The participants of the action will put flowers and light candles on Viktar Kalinouski's grave in Svislach.
