Uladzimir Katsora and Homel activists stop hunger strike

Seven activists from Homel Region have stopped their hunger strike. They have taken the decision today in connection with the fact that Homel Central Court has appointed the hearing of their complaint for July 22.

Four participants of the action dated for the 10th anniversary of the disappearance of General Yury Zaharanka were fined for big sums of money on June 25. Uladzimir Katsora was arrested for three days.

He went on a hunger strike in the confinement cell. He was supported by other opposition activists. The hunger strikers demanded to reconsider the court’s decision.
