UN and USA commemorate victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki for the first time
An official representative of the USA has taken part in the mourning ceremony dedicated to victims of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, reports Radio Liberty. Washington has sent the US Ambassador to Japan John Roos to the Peace Memorial Ceremony in Hiroshima. Let us remind you that 140 people were killed as a result of the US aviation’s atomic bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. An American plane dropped another atomic bomb on Nagasaki killing 70 thousand people three days later.
