Vandals excavate Kurapaty cemetery and throw away remains of the slain
An unknown criminal excavated two graves in the Kurapaty memorial complex. They threw away the remains of slain people – bones, skulls, clothes and footwear – and left them scattered on the gravel, informs “Radio Liberty”.
A BNF activist Uladzimir Yuho was the first to have noticed it. Criminals left some traces because they were in a hurry.
The head of the Belarusian voluntary association for protection of cultural and historical monuments Anton Astapovich supposed that it had been done by “black diggers” who wanted to find some valuables.
The head of Minsk District Department of the Interior Victar Maiseyeu and his deputy Mihail Hryb also arrived at the crime scene.
