"Vorsha Pillow Battle" participants prepare to run away from the police
Minsk city executive committee has forbidden the action "Vorsha Pillow Battle" dedicated to anniversary of the Vorsha battle. Thus, the participants will have to run away from the police, and this will be a "flying battle", informed Valiantsin, one of the organizers of the action, to the European Radio for Belarus. Valiantsin: "We'll get together and decide on the spot what to do next. We won't stay at one and the same place and let the police react on that".
Let us remind you that this year "Historica" has filed an application for conducting a pillow battle, to Minsk city executive committee. The organizers have suggested 4 possible places of the action. None of them has been approved. Thus, the action will be conducted by private persons. According to the organizers, the action has been forbidden because Mikhail Tsitsiankou, the Deputy Head of the executive committee, did not understand it's sense.
The pillow battle is conducted for the second year. Last year it was allowed. This action is dedicated to victory of the army of Great Duchy of Lithuania over the Moscow army in the battle near Vorsha on September 8, 1514.
