Wild poppy plantation found near Hrodna
The police and border guards found a wild poppy plantation near Hrodna in western Belarus. This is the largest plantation found in Belarus this year, reports Belapan. 8 hectars of poppy plants were found growing in next to the border with Poland. The plantation, bearing no signs of deliberate farming, was burnt by the police.
