Will Belarus have a sports TV channel?

The Olympic Assembly of the National Olympic Committee will consider the launch of a specialized sports TV channel in Belarus, NOC first vice president Henadz Alyakseenka said during a workshop in Babruisk. Higher tasks than before Beijing-2008 will be put before athletes in a new Olympic cycle. This will require an efficient work in all the directions, he said.

The National Olympic Committee will gather an assembly on January 16, 2009.
