More than 100 Belarusians will take part in the anti-nuclear action of protest "Castor" in Germany, which is scheduled on the beginning of November. The action will present blockade of railways for transportation of train with nuclear waste.
This is the way the Germans protest against storing of nuclear waste and existence of nuclear dumps. Besides, "Castor" is participated by the representatives of German authorities, political parties, farmers.
Let us remind you, "Castor" is conducted every two years. Up to 30 thousand policemen are gathered to stop the action, during which the activists can tie themselves to railways, or jump at the train from a tree. This year activists from Belarus, Ukraine and Russia will participate in "Castor" as observers

The leader of the "Our House" campaign Volha Karach has told in her interview to the European Radio for Belarus, that it is very importants for Belarusians to participate in anti-nuclear protest actions.

Karach: “They plan to build a big nuclear power station in Belarus. For me, it is even more dangerous than in Germany, as there is no broad civic control. The main thing is, Belarus is not such a big country. We have nowhere to keep nuclear waste”.

According to Volha Karach, Belarus will be represented at the action in Germany by the "Our House" campaign, the "Greens" party, the public association "Green Network" and separate civic figures.
