10:55 Prosecutors probe hotel construction project at a historical site
The Office of Prosecutor in Minsk is to probe the legality of a hotel construction project at the site of the Bernadine's monastery.
The move comes in respond to the appeal from the Belarusian Language Society, which gathered almost 5000 signatures for a complaint filed to Aliaksandr Lukashenka.
The people are demanding not to rebuild the monastery and the St. Joseph Cathedral and to return the 17th-century architectural monuments to parishioners. People continue signing in, according to telegraf.by
