11:01 Gas gets more expensive at fuel stations

The price of natural gas for refilling vehicles will today be raised.
Under the Belarus's Economy Ministry's resolution on March 30, 2007, Beltransgaz will be selling this fuel to consumers for Br 685 per one cubic meter, V.A.T. excluded.

The document becomes effective on April 11. The costs of the natural gas used to refill vehicles have already been increased several times. In accordance with the December 9, 2005 resolution of the Economy Ministry, the price of gas was set at Br 602 per one cubic meter without V.A.T.

Before the most recent price increase, the price of gas at fuel stations in Minsk was Br750. But, even after the increase, gas will remain the cheapest fuel compared with petrol and diesel, reports Zviazda newspaper.
