Opposition meeting broken up in Moscow

More than a thousand participants of the “March of Non-Agreement” have been dispersed by the police and special police troops in Moscow.
After the detention at Pushkin Square members of the opposition managed to gather at Petrovskij Avenue and started moving towards Turgenev Square, the place where the authorities had allowed them a meeting. The demonstrators were shouting the motto “Russia without Putin!”.

Several torches were lit. Special police troops severely beat them with batons and made them walk back. Police reinforcement is going to arrive there soon.
