1million people attend Easter celebrations in Belarus
Nearly one million people celebrated Easter in Orthodox churches across the country on April 18-19, Interior Ministry said in a statement.
Around 50,000 people attended churches in the Minsk region, and over 75,000 in Minsk. The police stressed a drop in crimes was observed in the festive days compared to the ordinary days, reports Belapan.
