39 Russian children stranded in Brest
39 children from the Russian city of Ekaterinburg are stranded in Brest, western Belarus. Three groups of the Russian kids participated in the Ural's Days of Culture in the Polish town of Legnica in late July and were returning homs through Belarus. However, the organizer of the trip -- the Center to Support Education, Culture and Arts -- had no return tickets. The parents maintain that the mess started even before their children's departure when the route and departure time had been changed at least twice.
The parents have filed a complaint with the police and expect assistance from the Russian government.
