44,000 get free A/H1N1 flu vaccines in Brest region

44,000 people have received free A/H1N1 vaccines in the Brest region, local chief sanitary doctor Aleh Arnavutau told BELTA. 88,000 doses for two-times use were supplied by the Ministry of Health to the region. The list of those vaccinated included medics, rescue workers, fire fighters as well as workers from utility services, public transport, etc.

Doctors forecast that a new flu epidemic in the region should be expected in late February-early March.
