A 72-year-old pensioner sets herself on fire in the center of Warsaw
A Polish pensioner poured herself over with petrol and set on fire at one of the central squares of Warsaw. The incident happened on Saturday morning. The 72-year-old lady was most likely to declare her protest against non-effective treatment of her daughter at one of the hospitals this way, informs the Polish portal tvn24.pl. Ambulance arrived immediately, the lady was put to hospital.
The pensioner has gotten burn of the 2nd level of severety, 40% of her body has been damaged. However, the doctors say she is stable and there's no death threat. The police of Warsaw confirm the incident happened but give no further information.
