About 200 people evacuated from Homel hostel due to fire

A fire started in the hostel of Homel machine-building college at about 4 a.m. on March 29.
BelaPAN informs that 6 fire-engines were used there. The fire was in the ground floor of a five-storey building. Rescuers evacuated about 200 inhabitants of the hostel.

A refrigerator and the walls of the room got damaged by the fire. According to the preliminary version, the fire was caused by a short circuit in the wiring of the refrigerator.
