About 340 people die in stampede in Cambogia
About 340 people died as a result of the stampede occurred at the festive event in the Cambogian capital, informational agencies report. It is not excluded that the number of victims will increase as dozens of people are in hospitals with severe injuries. The stampede occurred at one of the Phnom Penh bridges during the closing ceremony of the so-called "water festival". According to the witnesses, after the mass festive concert a huge crowd of people went to the city center through the bridge, the carrying capacity of which did not prescribe so many people.
