Alexander Kozulin received at Russia's parliament

Ex-presidential candidate Alexander Kozulin met with Alexander Ostrovsky, the chairman of the CIS Affairs Committee at the Russian lower house of parliament (Liberal Democrats), the Duma.
Numerous media that reported about the meeting stressed that it took place on the date when Russia and Georgia had a war on the territory of South Ossetia last year.

Kozulin told the European Radio for Belarus that Ostrovsky had invited him to Moscow only to find out about his life.

Alexander Kozulin: “We talked about the life in various aspects. I was asked about my life, work and opinions. He was just interested in my fate; that was it”.

The politician maintains that there was no talk about his possible comeback to Belarus politics with Moscow's support. At the same time, he admitted that certain "consultations" over the developments in Belarus were requested from him.

It is still unclear if similar meetings and consultations are going to take place in the future, according to Kozulin.
