Aliaksandr Frantskevich additionally accused of hacker attacks
A criminal case is started against Aliaksandr Frantskevich for elaboration of computer programs or amending the data at Novapolatsk executive office's web-site.
According to the information provided by the human right center "Viasna" with a reference to "Ejednevnik", the preliminary investigation department of the city administration of internal affairs of Minsk city executive committee has started a criminal case against one of the accused in the "anarchists' case" Aliaksandr Frantskevich. The sanctions upon the new case prescribe up to 2 years of imprisonment.
It has been established in the end of the investigation that Frantskevich hacked the web-site of the executive office of Novapolatsk, where he used to live, in his spare time between the arsons. For this, he used special harmful computer programs. The accused placed these files at the city executive office's web-site and thus obtained an opportunity to manipulate the computer information and manage the server so that the administrator would not notice it. The law-enforcement authorities are now checking whther anarchists are in any way connected with hacker attacks on the web-sites of other state bodies of the Republic of Belarus.
Let us remind you, Frantskevich had been officially accused of filming the attack on the police station in Salihorsk since September 20. On February 14 he was presented a new accusation - of the action near the General HQ, as well as of the Salihorsk attack and the attack on trade unions. Frantskevich is now in the pre-trial detention center at Valadarski Street in Minsk, the term of imprisonment expires in April 2011.
